Sławomir Idziak - Oscar nominated Polish cameraman will have a workshop at OFF PLUS CAMERA '09. Filmoffka is an open seminar for those who want to capture emotion on tape. The artist will also present his new project - Film Spring Open Virtual Studio. It is a continuation of a series of workshops at Hel peninsula. Book seats now!

MEET THE JURY / MEET THE GUEST series started Sunday April 16th in the Festival Center. A series of seminars and lectures with the renowned filmmakers and other festival guests is presented by TVN Media School. It is a unique opportunity for the festival goers to find out more about the work and experiences of such artists like Andrey Zvyaintsev, Fernando Trueba or Allison Anders.

 

Due to many requests the audience, users and Take It & Make It participants, OFF PLUS CAMERA'09 organizers decided to extend the deadline for films submission. You can add your films and vote for your favorites till Thursday, 23 April, 11.59 p.m.

The Mayor of Krakow has officially opened OFF PLUS CAMERA’09. International Festival of Independent Cinema was inaugurated in Kijow.Centrum Cinema in Krakow with a musical performance by Nigel Kennedy and the Polish premiere of Johnny Mad Dog. Earlier, Zbigniew Preisner, chairman of the festival Jury , together with Lea Thompson and Howard Deutch, met with reporters at the Festival Center.
