We would like to invite you all to the panel discussion about the films that represent New Queer Cinema. New Queer Cinema plays a vital role in the modern cinema. The panelists will be discussing whether it is possible to definy the term “queer” in a precise way, they will also be speaking about narrative strategies typical for the new queer cinema directors as well as the transformations of this trend.

Take it and Make it - first stage officially closed! 10 films with most online votes qualified to the second stage of the competition. The winner of 3,000 USD Grand Prix Plus will be selected by a Jury: Edward Miszczak (TVN programmer), Sławomir Idziak (Oscar nominated Polish cameraman), Łukasz Krzeski (Polkomtel S.A. PR Manager) and Józef Stachów (Gazeta Wyborcza journalist).

The first stage of 'Take it and Make it' officially closed! Take it and Make it is an open competition for cellphone and amateur video films. 10 films (7Polish and 3 from abroad) will make it to the second stage of the competition. The jury are: Edward Miszczak (TVN Programming director), Sławomir Idziak (Oscar nominated Polish cameraman), Łukasz Krzeski (PR Manager at Polkomtel S.A.) and Józef Stachów (Gazeta Wyborcza journalist). The jury will select a winner who will be awarded 3000 USD.

Director of Aimee&Jaguar (two Silver Bears in Berlin, Golden Globe best foreign film nomination), winner of best foreign film award at Santa Barbara for Anonima: Woman in Berlin (2009). A unique personality and  acknowledged director will talk about his work at a seminar for Jagiellonian University journalism students.
